Is There Anything More American Than Celebrating The Most Outrageous Burgers Possible?

Food & People

If you haven’t heard that May is National Burger Month, then you’re probably not a weirdo  like me who has her Google Calendar set to display all the national food holidays. But the good news is, we’re only halfway through May, so you still have time to celebrate! Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, FL may just qualify as the Disney World of Burgers, since they have over FORTY different options at their various restaurants to indulge in!

Next week, I’ll be lucky enough to try Adena Grill & Wine Bar’s MILLION DOLLAR BURGER, which might sound like an expensive date, but if you think my meal costs a lot, wait until I ask you to take me shopping at Blu Ice after! But seriously, This Million Dollar burger might not cost you $1 million, it just does taste like it! The name of the burger represents the amount of money Frank Stronach, founder of Adena Meats, invested to create Adena Meats. The price tag on this one-of-a-kind burger ($18).  It’s made with a brioche burger bun, truffle mustard, lettuce, tomato, tempura fried onion, and truffle parmesan fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about my first kiss with this baby. Stay tuned for my blog on this burger and more of Adena’s incredible menu.

Some other burger highlights available at Gulfstream even include a vegetarian option:

  • Frankey’s Sports Bar, CHIMICHURRI BURGER –Chimichurri spread, roasted red pepper, arugula
  • Ten Palms, OMG SUPER BURGER – Waygu mini burgers, truffle aioli, gruyere
  • BRIO Tuscan Grille, BRIO BURGER – Provolone, special sauce, housemade chips
  • Yard House, GARDEIN™ VEGAN BURGER – Red quinoa, kale shiitakes, daiya vegan mozzarella, avocado, tomato, arugula, onion, miso, onion bun, mixed greens

Remember, you still have plenty of time to celebrate National Burger Month! For a full list of all the possible meaty (and meatless!) burgers, visit here.
